The
Bale Feed Trailer
(NZ National

- Takes
four
medium square bales -
i.e. medium (800x800x1500)
or three
large
(1.2m x 1.3m x 2.2m).
- Any
type of bale: Haylage or any ordinary
dry type of feed bale Very
low maintenance: only one moving part, the bale pusher frame
- Drive
system: basic hydraulics with variable
speed valve, backed up with a two-way relief valve.
- Can
be used as hay-carting trailer in
the haymaking season.
- Heavy
duty frame, stub axles and tyres.
- Adjustable
top finger bar to control biscuit
size.
- The
biscuit spacings can be altered by
the pusher frame speed control valve or simply by altering the tractor
ground speed.
- The
bale strings are cut at the yard and
lifted out by tractor forks or tied to the trailer frame. As
the
bale is pushed off, the strings remain attached to the frame.
- There
is a walkway along the side with
a ladder for easy access to cut bale strings.
- Extra
heavy duty shaft, sprockets, bearings
and a 25,000 lb breaking strain chain, designed for operating in these
conditions.
- Extra
heavy jack for free-standing loading.
- Can
be made to carry and feed out from
one to six big squares
