Effluent Irrigators

  • Four different speeds
  • Very basic drive mechanism
  • Easy to replace main bottom seal in spindle housing (lasts about three years)
  • Can’t be knocked out of gear by cow scratching itself on the stationary irrigator set up for next run
  • Hardened wire rope guides, never need replacing
  • Very accurate stop mechanism, never fails
  • Heavy duty galvanized wire rope
  • No wire rope coning or knotting because of drum design
  • Self sharpening drive arm ratchet tooth and drum teeth
  • Anti bird’s nest friction brake on rope drum
  • No sharp internal corners, elbows or tees for the flowing effluent to build up on and block flow
  • Three wheels to ensure all wheels are on the ground at all times regardless of how rough the paddock is
  • Front caster wheel to ensure it can swerve around objects in the paddock and not stall the irrigator in one spot
  • All ball bearings are tripled sealed
  • The whole is either galvanized steel, stainless steel, nylon or rubber, so it is totally corrosion free
  • Boom rotates on two hardened heavy nylon bushes that are greaseable and when required are very easy to replace
  • Nozzles are our own design that are made of a special rubber to allow the nozzle to stretch to pop out any objects that could block them (please see inset photo above)
  • The nozzles have water straightening ribs moulded into them to give the effluent flow leaving the nozzle more distance, thrust and misting effect in the air
  • Patented long and short booms with deflector and specific bend angles to ensure very accurate rain cover over total wetted width
